04 · Questions

The practical details in one place.

The package cards contain the information needed for a first decision. These answers cover the booking, travel, delivery and licence details behind them.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes. A 20% deposit confirms the booking. The remaining amount follows the payment schedule stated in the written agreement. Custom productions receive a complete quotation before confirmation.

What happens if a portrait session is cancelled?

A written cancellation more than 72 hours before the session is free. With 24–72 hours notice, the deposit is retained. For same-day cancellation or failure to attend without notice, the remaining 80% of the session fee is invoiced.

Can a portrait session be moved to another date?

Yes. When requested more than 72 hours before the session, the deposit can be transferred once to a new available date within six months. If the rescheduled session is later cancelled, the deposit is retained.

Can I book something outside the listed packages?

Yes. The packages are clear starting points rather than strict limits. Longer sessions, unusual production requirements, multi-location work and commissioned visual stories receive an individual quotation.

How is the included 75 km travel distance calculated?

It is measured one way from 9466 Sennwald SG to the primary location using the shortest practical driving route displayed by Google Maps when the quotation is prepared. Additional distance, parking and travel between multiple locations are agreed in advance.

When will the photographs be delivered?

Portrait photographs are often delivered sooner, but never later than two weeks after the session. Event delivery follows the selected package: normally within 24 hours for 4-hour coverage and within 48 hours for 8-hour coverage. Custom assignments use an agreed delivery schedule.

What does the CHF 100 professional portrait licence cover?

It applies once per Classic or Lifestyle session and covers all final delivered photographs for three years. It includes the client’s own professional website, portfolio, CV, business profiles, organic social media, press material and printed self-promotion. Paid advertising, third-party use and larger campaigns require a separate agreement.

Do clients receive copyright or raw files?

No. Clients receive the edited final photographs and the usage licence described for the selected package. Copyright remains with David Hosszú. Raw files, image resale, stock-library distribution and copyright transfer are not included unless explicitly agreed for a specific production.

How do the analogue photography additions work?

Analogue photography costs CHF 50 per 35 mm roll and CHF 75 per medium-format roll for portrait sessions, 4-hour event coverage and extended assignments. It is included in 8-hour event coverage. Film stock, lighting conditions and the practical number of rolls are agreed before the session or event.

When is the on-location mini studio available?

It is available for CHF 100 with portrait sessions and CHF 150 with event coverage when the location has enough room and access for a compact lighting and backdrop setup. With the Classic Portrait package, it is intended for headshots and three-quarter portraits.
